This Privacy Policy applies to all games, applications (collectively referred to as “Card Puzzle Mania”), websites, and related services (hereinafter collectively the “Services”) operated by Short Tail Studio. It explains how Short Tail Studio (“we”, “us”, or “our”) and our affiliated entities collect, use, disclose, and protect your personal information when you access and use our Services.
We reserve the right to revise this Privacy Policy at any time for any reason. We will notify you of updates by refreshing the “Last Updated” date displayed at the top of this policy. We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy regularly. Your continued use of the Services following the posting of revised changes constitutes your acknowledgment, acceptance, and agreement to the updated Privacy Policy.

You may register for and sign into a user account to sync game progress and activate cross-device functional features. You are solely responsible for ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of your account information.

When you use our Services, we automatically collect device-related information, including but not limited to your device model, operating system, application version, unique device identifier, advertising identifier, system language, time zone, and IP address.

We automatically generate and collect usage data regarding your interactions with the Services, including crash logs, location data, in-app purchase records, and other behavioral statistics related to your use of our features.
Geolocation and Device Permission Information
We may request access to your mobile device’s location information (either continuously or during active use of the app) to provide location-based service features. You may modify or revoke our location access permission at any time via your device settings. We may also request camera access to support specific in-app functional features during your gameplay.

For users located in the European Economic Area, Norway, or Switzerland, personalized advertising will only be conducted with your explicit consent to the collection of your device advertising identifier and IP address.
You may withdraw your consent or opt out of personalized advertising at any time by following the instructions in the “Opt-out of Targeted Advertising” section below.
Legal Compliance
We may process your personal data to comply with applicable laws, regulatory requirements, and legal proceedings.
3. DATA RETENTION
We retain your personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy or to comply with statutory obligations. We may retain and process your data to resolve disputes, enforce user agreements, and meet legal compliance requirements. Device and usage data may also be retained for internal product analysis and service optimization.
All collected personal data will be deleted once it no longer serves the above purposes. In any case, your personal data will be permanently deleted after fourteen (14) months of continuous inactivity on our Services. After data deletion, you will no longer be able to exercise your rights of access, correction, erasure, or data portability for such data.
4. USER RIGHTS AND OPT-OUT MEASURES
You reserve the right to correct, delete, restrict, or object to the processing of your personal data, and the right to withdraw previously granted consent at any time (for example, by disabling camera or location permissions in your device settings). The withdrawal of consent will not affect the legality of data processing conducted prior to the withdrawal.
Opt-out of Targeted Advertising
We and our third-party advertising partners use advertising identifiers (including Apple IDFA and Android Advertising ID) and tracking technologies to deliver personalized advertisements. You may disable personalized advertising through the following device settings:
iOS Devices:
Settings > Privacy > Advertising > Enable “Limit Ad Tracking” (iOS 13 and earlier); or Settings > Privacy > Tracking > Disable “Allow Apps to Request to Track” (iOS 14 and later).
Android Devices:
Settings > Google > Ads > Enable “Opt out of Ads Personalization”.
After opting out, you will only receive contextual non-personalized advertisements. Please note that you may still view generic advertisements, or personalized ads from third-party platforms obtained through other apps or websites. You may also use the AppChoices application to limit cross-app interest-based data collection by participating DAA member companies.
5. DATA SHARING AND DISCLOSURE
We may share your personal information with authorized third parties only for legitimate business purposes, as follows:
Cloud Storage and Technical Support
User data is stored on secure servers operated by qualified third-party service providers located in the United States, who provide us with data hosting, maintenance, and technical support services.
Cooperation with Service Providers and Partners
We may share your data with our service partners to support product operation, including but not limited to technical development, data analysis, customer service, and marketing promotion. All partners are bound by strict data confidentiality agreements.
Legal Requirements and Public Interests
We may disclose your personal data if required by applicable laws, legal procedures, or government regulatory requirements, or when necessary to protect the legitimate rights, property, and safety of our platform, users, employees, or the public.
Business Transactions
In the event of a merger, acquisition, asset restructuring, bankruptcy liquidation, or other business transfer, your personal information may be transferred as part of the business assets. We will require the new data controller to continue to abide by this Privacy Policy; otherwise, we will obtain your explicit consent for the data transfer.
With User Consent
We will not share or transfer your personal data for other purposes without your explicit authorization.
We will provide prior notice to you before disclosing your data to law enforcement or government authorities, unless prohibited by law or official orders.
6. CHILDREN’S PRIVACY
Our Services are not intended for children under the age of four (4). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 4 without verifiable parental consent. We recommend parents and guardians supervise minors’ use of internet services.
